Podere dell’Anselmo is a unique gem that started as a horse farm and was transformed into a winery by Fabrizio, the passionate owner and winemaker. With a touch of that delightful “madness” all great winemakers seem to have, Fabrizio’s wines are exceptional—especially his Sangiovese, though he also creates remarkable wines from native white grape varieties. If you visit and Fabrizio is around, you’re in for a treat—he loves to personally welcome guests, sharing both his pride in his craft and his love for meeting people from all over the world. Since it’s a small-scale operation, Podere dell’Anselmo’s wines aren’t widely distributed, so be sure to stock up while you’re there!
