Grapetrotters Journeys

Make memories to last a lifetime!

We are Rebecca & Pierre, the founders of Grape Tours, and we are super passionate about combining travel with exceptional wine and food experiences in different regions. So we propose that you come with us to different regions that we’ve gotten to know very well and you’ll let us show us the delicious hidden gems that we’ve carefully selected.

Grapetrotters are meticulously crafted journeys, ranging from 4 to 7 days depending on the region, offering all-inclusive packages and exclusive itineraries. Perfect for travelers seeking an immersive exploration of local food and wine traditions, our well-planned tours are guided by experts.

Annually, we curate various trips for small groups, with options for individuals, couples, or small groups of friends to participate. As these are destination-focused tours, group sizes may vary based on the location. For some tours, the maximum number of participants is 8, for others the group size is capped at 18.

Join us on a trip and spend time learning from Pierre, who is a winemaker hailing from Bordeaux, and Rebecca, who has two decades of experience leading wine tours out of Tuscany.

We ensure that every journey is a unique and enriching experience with plenty of culture, great foods, and wines.

How to book a Grapetrotters Journey

How to book

When you decide to book a tour, follow the booking button link that you'll find at the bottom of the page of the trip that you've chosen. There is a registration fee/deposit that is requested at the moment of registration which can vary from 500 to 1000 euro depending on the tour.

Remaining payment

Once the tour is confirmed with the minimum number of participants, the balance of the tour is due 180-120 days before the beginning of the tour.

Cancellation

Should you not be able to go due to force majeure, you will be able to reschedule and use your deposit towards another tour (up to 180 days before the tour starts).

Regarding cancellations, please see Art 5.4 in Grape Tours "general terms & conditions".

We highly recommend getting trip insurance that covers you fully in any unforeseen events.

Other important info

Luggage:

For tours involving transportation between locations, we recommend packing light or considering the amount you're comfortable carrying into each accommodation. It is suggested to have no more than one large suitcase (around 22 inches) and one carry-on, such as a backpack.

Accessibility:

While our tours generally don't require extensive walking, some activities, like visits to historical towns, may involve walking, often on uneven cobblestoned streets. Strenuous hikes are not organized, but participants should be able to walk comfortably, as there may be instances where we need to meet the bus down a driveway, and stairs are common inside wineries where elevators may not be available.

What's not included:

Your travel to the tour's starting point and onward travel after the tour are not included. All guests are responsible for reaching the meeting point (hotel) on their own, though we are happy to provide guidance if needed. Most of our tours are all-inclusive, but this doesn't cover items like the mini-bar in hotels and beverages not ordered by the host. Opting out of activities is possible, but these cannot be refunded.

Changes:

Unforeseen circumstances may lead to changes in scheduled activities. In such cases, we will either rearrange the activity or schedule a similar one to compensate for any inconvenience.
