Grape Tours
A Journey into Italian Wine, Tradition and Culture

Life is Grape in Tuscany!

Rebecca & Pierre — Our Story

Sometimes a great bottle of wine changes your day.
In our case, it changed our lives.

I (Rebecca) was leading a wine tour when Pierre joined as a solo guest — curious, smiling, and the kind of person who asks a billion questions and makes the guide sweat! However, by the end of the day, between vineyard strolls, cellar stories, and a few unforgettable glasses, something clicked. Wine has a way of opening doors, and one of those doors opened straight to us meeting each other.

From that chance encounter grew a partnership built on terroir, travel, and a shared desire to create authentic, memorable experiences for others. Over the years, we’ve blended our backgrounds — mine in guiding and hospitality, Pierre’s in winemaking, agriculture, and the quiet, meticulous craft of ageing cheese — into a life dedicated to celebrating the best of Tuscany.

Today, we run a small constellation of projects we love:
Grape Tours, our original and now shared home for storytelling wine experiences;
Formaggioteca Terroir, Pierre’s cheesemaker-driven world of dairy, wine, and conviviality;
Campo Sasso, our dream rental villa and agroforestal vineyard;
and our multi-day journeys through Italy and beyond with our guests who become true Grapetrotters.

What we share with guests is simply what brought us together: a belief in good wine, real food, and genuine human connection.

Welcome to our world — we’re happy you’re here.

What Makes Us Special
At Grape Tours, our shared passion for Italy’s wine regions comes from over 25 years of experience in the world of wine and food. This journey has made us very selective and has given us the opportunity to connect with some of the best wineries around—many of them embracing sustainable and organic practices, something we deeply value.

More Than Just Tours
Grape Tours is closely tied to our award-winning cheese and wine bar, Formaggioteca Terroir, located right here in Florence. At the shop you’ll find a carefully curated selection of wines, cheeses, and even our own products, like organic olive oil from Chianti Classico and wine from our beloved farmhouse, Campo Sasso. Nestled in the Tuscan countryside, Campo Sasso is where we nurture an agriforestal vineyard hands-on, tend to olive groves, and age cheeses in a traditional stone farmhouse.

Our Philosophy
Someone once wisely said life’s too short for bad wine, and that's for certain! That’s why our tours are all about high-quality selections, with storytelling at the heart of the experience. We aim to make wine approachable, engaging, and above all, memorable.

Sustainability & Small Group Travel
Sustainability is more important than ever, not just for winemakers but also for us as travelers. That’s why our tours are designed for small groups, creating a shared experience with like-minded wine enthusiasts while minimizing our footprint.

Meet Our Team
Over the years, we’ve built a team of talented wine professionals who share our passion for exceptional wine and hospitality. If you email us with a question, you’ll likely hear back directly from one of us or from Ilaria Miele, our very first team member and technical director of Grape Tours.

Our team of wine guides is made up by wine professionals who add to the tours with their own personal experiences in Italian wine and travel - when you've booked a tour with us, you'll receive a link to check them all out!

We can’t wait to welcome you and share the magic of Italian wine with you! Until then, please follow us on Instagram and subscribe to our YouTube channel.
