Itinerary Chianti & Cheese
Our day begins at our meeting point/office in Florence at 9:45 AM (we recommend arriving a little early to check in and use bathroom facilities). Make sure to have breakfast beforehand, as we’ll have a busy and delicious day ahead.
You’ll be accompanied by our friendly, English-speaking Grape Guide, and together with a small group of no more than eight guests, you’ll board our comfortable luxury Mercedes van and head south of Florence towards Chianti, just half an hour away.
This day trip is designed for food and wine lovers who appreciate authentic flavors, organic farms, and the picturesque landscapes of vineyards and olive groves. We’ve planned three delicious stops for you in one of the most stunning corners of Chianti. We begin at a family-run organic winery, where we’ll stroll through the vines and head into the cellars to discover how Tuscany’s most celebrated grape varieties are transformed into exquisite wines. We’ll enjoy a guided tasting of four organic wines, paired with local bites.
After a short scenic drive, we arrive at an organic farm for a freshly prepared lunch featuring seasonal vegetables from the garden, wholesome wholegrain pasta, and a selection of natural wines.
Our journey continues to a farm renowned for its exceptional cheeses, produced in its own creamery. After exploring the dairy and learning about the art of Tuscan Pecorino cheese-making, we’ll indulge in a tasting of four unique sheep’s milk cheeses, paired with – you guessed it – four more organic wines, as well as their exceptional extra virgin olive oil.
