Family Wine Tour

Your day begins with a scenic drive from Florence into the beautiful Tuscan countryside. As you leave the city behind, the landscape opens up into rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves, and cypress-lined roads while your Grape Guide introduces you to the history, culture, and wines of the region.

The first stop is a family-friendly winery, where both adults and children can feel at home. While the adults enjoy a guided tasting of the estate’s wines paired with traditional Tuscan products, the kids can play and explore the surroundings, including a small playground where they can burn off some energy.

Next, the tour continues deeper into the Chianti Classico countryside for a relaxed Tuscan lunch at an organic winery. Surrounded by vineyards and nature, you’ll sit down for a delicious meal paired with the estate’s wines. After lunch, families can stroll around the property where children may see farm animals and enjoy the open rural setting.

On the way back, you’ll stop in a charming Tuscan hilltop village. Depending on the day and itinerary, this could be the lively medieval town of San Gimignano, known for its towers and bustling atmosphere, or the smaller village of Castellina in Chianti, perfect for wandering picturesque streets and soaking in the slower rhythm of Chianti life. A stop for gelato is always a favorite for both kids and adults.

For pick-ups elsewhere than Florence:
We have to review your location to see if it fits with our availability of guides and vans and if feasible for the region you would like to visit. If you want to know this before enquiring, shoot us an email.

Extra pick-up fees are generally 100 euro (per tour, not per person) within 40 km of Florence, and up to 200 euro for distances up to 80 km from Florence.
