TRUFFLES
It'll probably come as a surprise to you that truffles are found in Tuscany in every season of the year. In spring we have the Marzolino (whitish truffle), in summer the Scorzone (black truffle) and in fall the famous white truffle (Tuber Magnatum).
All truffles are different in how they look, smell and taste, but they are always delicious! The white truffle found in fall is the one that is the most fragrant and therefore considered the most precious.
SAN MINIATO
San Miniato may seem like just another picturesque hilltop village in Tuscany, but a visit quickly reveals its true passion: truffles. Here, truffles are not just celebrated — they are the heart and soul of the town. Thanks to San Miniato’s ideal terroir, it has earned the title of Tuscany’s truffle capital.
The village is also surrounded by charming wineries, where a variety of grapes flourish — even Tempranillo, a rare find in this region, thrives here!

For pick-ups elsewhere than Florence:
We have to review your location to see if it fits with our availability of guides and vans and if feasible for the region you would like to visit. If you want to know this before enquiring, shoot us an email.
Extra pick-up fees are generally 100 euro (per tour, not per person) within 40 km of Florence, and 200 euro for distances within 75 km from Florence.
