Le Masse di Lamole - winery in Greve in Chianti

Hidden among the spectacular terraced vineyards of Lamole, one of the highest and most historic villages in Chianti Classico, Le Masse di Lamole is a tiny family-run estate where tradition has been lovingly preserved for more than 140 years. Founded in 1880 and still owned by the Socci family, the winery produces around just 15,000 bottles each year, focusing exclusively on organic farming and authentic expressions of the Lamole terroir.

The steep, dry-stone terraces, ancient alberello (bush-trained) vines and high-altitude vineyards create elegant Chianti Classico wines known for their remarkable freshness, perfume and finesse. The family continues to age their wines in traditional large casks while maintaining many of the historic practices that have shaped Lamole's unique landscape for centuries.
