Colombaio di Santa Chiara - winery in San Gimignano
SAN GIMIGNANO
An ancient village nestled among vineyards, an old Tuscan homestead that is now a pristine B&B, a small restaurant where you can taste the estate's wines accompanied by excellent traditional dishes.
To complete this perfect postcard image, there is even a small 12th-century Romanesque church on the property. This, in short, is Colombaio Santa Chiara, a family-run farm for two generations thanks to the Logi family, who, in just over twenty years, have brought the winery's labels, focusing especially on Vernaccia grapes, to the top of the San Gimignano appellation. The wines are well crafted and clean, built around of their distinctive traits of unique territorial wines.
