Bellaria - winery in Montalcino

Bellaria’s history is a classic tale of Montalcino’s small, family-run wineries. In the early 1960s, Sunto Pieri and his wife Bruna purchased 40 hectares of vineyards in one of the area’s most prized zones. From these lands, they began producing the traditional products that have made Montalcino famous — Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino, extra virgin olive oil, and grappa.

Two generations later, their grandson Gianni continues the legacy. He oversees every part of the estate, from vineyard work to winemaking, and even steps into the kitchen to prepare delicious lunches paired with the estate’s wines — a true expression of Montalcino’s warmth and hospitality.
