Sunday, May 3 - 2026

ARRIVAL IN TOULOUSE 

Our rendezvous is set for 2 pm in Toulouse center 5Allée Jean Jaurès) from where we'll embark on a direct journey to Cahors!

Upon arrival in Cahors, guided visit of the city and check-in at our Château hotel.

Cap off the day with a delightful welcome dinner with wine & food pairing at the Château de Mercuès.

Monday, May 4 - 2026

CAHORS

Cahors, the origin of the Malbec grape, stands as the most renowned Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) in Southwest France. Distinguished for its deep, captivating red wines, often referred to as the Black Wine.

Our day entails visits to two premier producers, providing insights into the terroir influence along the Lot river.

A delightful lunch awaits us at the second winery.

Retreat for the night next to Bergerac, choosing a historical boutique hotel (Chartreuse) as your accommodation. Indulge in a special dinner featuring local cuisine complemented by carefully curated wine pairings.

Tuesday, May 5 - 2026

BERGERAC

The wines of Bergerac bear a striking resemblance to Bordeaux wines, crafted from the same grape varieties (Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet-Franc for reds, Sauvignon, and Sémillon for whites) and adopting a similar style along the scenic Dordogne river. Much like the sweet botrytis wines of Sauternes, Monbazillac produces its own delightful versions.

Our day includes visits to two renowned producers, immersing ourselves in the local winemaking traditions.

Indulge in a delectable lunch in the charming city of Bergerac, recognized as the capital of the Périgord region and celebrated worldwide for its black truffle.

Retire for the night in Saint-Mont, enjoying the comforts of a 4-star hotel resort.

Conclude the day with dinner at the bistro of our hotel resort.

Wednesday, May 6 - 2026

GASCONY & ARMAGNAC

Explore the sub-region renowned for its production of exotic white wines (Côtes de Gascogne IGP), bold reds crafted from the Tannat grape in Madiran, and exquisite dessert wines like Pacherenc-du-Vic-Bilh, made from unique grapes such as Petit Manseng.

Thursday, May 7 - 2026

JURANCON - IROULEGUY

Begin your day in the Jurançon vineyard, where sweeping views of the Pyrenees form a stunning backdrop. Here, you’ll taste the region’s exquisite whites and luscious sweet wines, crafted from Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng, while enjoying a leisurely lunch at the estate.

In the afternoon, travel into the heart of the Basque Country, discovering the vineyards of Irouléguy. Surrounded by dramatic landscapes, you’ll explore the art of biodynamic winemaking with expressive reds made from Tannat and Bouchy.

As evening sets in, settle into a typical Basque resort hotel, where the day concludes with an unforgettable food-and-wine pairing dinner, celebrating the flavors of this unique region.

TOULOUSE

Following breakfast, we will drive back to Toulouse Center (estimated arrival time 1 pm)
