Among the first estates to bottle Brunello under its own name following the birth of the denomination, the family has spent decades quietly establishing a reputation for producing some of the purest and most elegant expressions of this iconic wine. Today, the third generation continues this proud legacy, combining deep respect for tradition with the energy and vision of a new era.

The winery is led by brothers Federico and Francesco Baricci, who work alongside their father to oversee every aspect of the estate. Remaining intentionally small, Baricci focuses exclusively on wines produced from its own organically farmed vineyards within the historic Montosoli cru. This exceptional terroir, renowned for its altitude, galestro soils and ideal exposure, consistently produces Brunellos celebrated for their finesse, complexity and extraordinary ageing potential.

Rather than pursuing a broad portfolio, Baricci has chosen to perfect a handful of wines. Depending on the vintage, the estate produces Rosso di Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino and, in exceptional years, a Brunello Riserva. Limited production means these wines are highly sought after, with every bottle reflecting meticulous vineyard work, traditional winemaking and the unmistakable character of Montosoli.
