Ciao, I'm Rebecca Christophersen

I originated from Denmark, born to a Canadian mother and a Danish father. In the mid-'90s, I ventured to Florence on a quest to delve deeper into Italy, its language, and, of course, its wines! The path to becoming a wine tour guide was intricate and winding, involving stints managing restaurants and trying my hand as a wine distributor. While I primarily lead tours from Florence, I also conduct tours in other Italian regions such as Piemonte and Sicily (in 2025 you could also join me in Portugal!)

My love for wine eventually led me to Pierre, the winemaker who captured my heart (during a wine tour!). Of course, there are other loves in my life – my children Louise, Julian, and Oliver. And not to forget Frisbee, our adorable Australian Shepherd.

I proudly hold certifications as an Italian Wine Scholar (WSG) educator, an Olive Oil Taster (ONAOO), and an Italian Cheese Taster (ONAF). When I'm not guiding tours, you might find me at the cheese and wine shop, Formaggioteca Terroir.

So, I may be a bit of a food and wine geek, but I also have a profound love for travel and connecting with people from all corners of the world.
