Monday, June 24 - 2024 (day 1)

We gather at our Grape Tours office in the heart of Florence at 8 am, setting off towards the picturesque region of Umbria. Our first stop is the charming village of Spello, where you can leisurely stroll along cobbled streets adorned with flower-filled pots and indulge in window shopping for exquisite Umbrian ceramics.

Continuing our journey, we proceed to visit two distinct wineries renowned for crafting delectable Sagrantino wines. Our itinerary includes both a larger, well-established winery and a more intimate boutique winery, offering a diverse perspective on Sagrantino production.

Our overnight stay is nestled in the enchanting Montefalco village, positioned at the heart of Umbria. Here, we conclude the day with a delightful dinner featuring the region's specialties, allowing you to savor the authentic flavors of Umbria.

Tuesday,  June 25 - 2024 (day 2)

We explore a nearby cheese-making haven, where a knowledgeable artisan guides us through the intricacies of his farm. The highlight includes indulging in the delectable raw milk sheep cheeses.

Continuing our journey through Umbria, we make a stop in the enchanting village of Spoleto. Take a leisurely stroll through its magnificent streets, and if the cheese has left you with an appetite, enjoy a quick bite or treat yourself to some delightful gelato.

Our next destination is Norcia, renowned for its Prosciutto and black truffles. Here, we embark on a visit to the village, still bearing the scars of the 2016 earthquake. Settling into our rustic countryside residence, the evening unfolds with a dinner showcasing exquisite local foods and wines.

Wednesday, June 26 - 2024 (day 3)

We ascend into the Apennines and arrive at Castelluccio, a celestial haven nestled high in the mountains. This valley, a surreal landscape, transforms into a breathtaking mosaic of colors as vibrant flowers bloom.

Indulge in a gourmet lunch at a hidden gem, recently honored with its inaugural Michelin star!

As the evening unfolds, we find ourselves in Le Marche, specifically in the picturesque Piceno region. Our abode is a panoramic winery relais, where a delightful evening awaits, featuring a light dinner paired with exquisite wines.

Thursday, June 27 - 2024 (day 4)

Following breakfast, our journey takes us an hour north to explore an exceptional cow's cheese maker.

On our return route, we pass through the charming town of Offida, providing an opportunity to appreciate our picturesque residence. Later, our visit to the Cocci Grifoni winery awaits, offering a delightful dinner experience where we can savor the distinct Pecorino and Passerina varietals.

Friday, June 28 - 2024 (day 5)

We embark on a scenic drive along the Adriatic seaside to explore the renowned red wine region of Conero in Le Marche. Nestled by the bustling port of Ancona, this coastal area unfolds its beauty. Our itinerary includes a delightful winery tour, followed by a seaside lunch.

In the afternoon, our journey leads us to Morro d'Alba, a quaint town celebrated for the unique Lacrima grape. Our accommodation for the night is a charming olive oil farm inn, offering panoramic views of the rolling hills.

Later, we venture to a local winery, concluding the day with a visit to the village for a casual pizza dinner.

Saturday, June 29 - 2024 (day 6)

We depart after breakfast and further inland we visit a small wine producer who is rocking the world of Verdicchio.
