When Renzo Marinai inherited the estate more than 25 years ago, he embarked on a visionary path, becoming one of the pioneers of organic viticulture in Chianti Classico. His philosophy has always been to work in harmony with nature, cultivating the vineyards without synthetic chemicals and allowing the exceptional soils and microclimate of the Conca d'Oro to shine through in every bottle. The result is a collection of elegant, terroir-driven wines that beautifully express the character of Sangiovese and the surrounding landscape.

The winery itself is every bit as remarkable as the wines. Beneath the historic farmhouse lie atmospheric ageing cellars, some dating back to the 12th century, where ancient stone walls create the perfect conditions for slow maturation. In a unique touch that has become part of the estate's identity, classical music gently fills the cellar, accompanying the wines as they quietly evolve in oak—a reflection of the family's belief that patience, beauty and harmony are essential ingredients in great winemaking.
