Casanova di Neri's origins trace back to Giovanni, now in its third generation with Giovanni's grandfather. Despite the winery's numerous accolades and multiple 100-point ratings, it remains a closely-knit family affair. Father Giacomo oversees the entirety of the winery. What distinguishes Casanova di Neri is that, beyond the elegant tasting room, there exists an underground winery solely devoted to crafting single vineyard Brunello. These vineyards are scattered across different locations around Montalcino. Eschewing unnecessary extravagance, the setup is designed to produce excellent wines without unnecessary frills.
