Winery:
Castello dei Rampolla is a beautiful old fortified villa in the Conca d'Oro, the southern valley of Panzano. A forerunner for both the Cabernet Sauvignon in the region, but also for organic and biodynamic vineyard management. 
 
Wine:
Sammarco is one of the great wines that come to mind when the whole Super Tuscan phenomenon came to be. It's a beautiful wine with a long aging potential.
