Winery:
Grattamacco is one of the founding wineries in the area of Bolgheri which now is renowned for its world class super tuscan style wines. The winery is rather small and organic certified, working year after year to interpret the vineyards by the sea grown primarily with international grape varieties.
 
Wine:
The Bolgheri Superiore Grattamacco is the signature wine of the estate. A selection of the vary best grapes fermented in small open barrels and aged in the underground cellar for a couple of years in small oak. The wine has a potential to age for 10-15 years, and it's a really fine expression of the Bolgheri region. It's deep, complex, well balanced and very silky.
