Winery:
La Massa is a super modern winery, both in building and in style - at least for the Chianti Classico region. So much so that Gianpaolo Motta has long decided not to make Chianti Classico due to the many restrictions. He just wanted to make good wine, or actually excellent wines.
 
Wine:
Giorgio Primo, also the name of Gianpaolo's son, is the star of the winery - a bordeaux blend made to reach decades of maturation. A truely great Super Tuscan both in the make and in style.
