Winery:
Baricci is a small family producer on the north side of Montalcino, exactly on the cru hill of Montesoli. The Bariccis make beautiful and straightfoward wines, all of organic grown Sangiovese-grapes from the family's own vineyards. The wines are made in the family stone house in a small cellar, and in recent years their wines' excellence have stood out even to important Italian wine press giving them several awards to be proud of.
 
Wine:
This Brunello is what you could call traditional style. It ages in big Slavonian oak barrels for around 3 years before bottling. It has a good structure and complex flavors of red berries and matured notes like leather.
