ARRIVAL IN BORDEAUX, VISIT TO CITE DE VIN & WELCOME DINNER

We'll convene in the lobby of our upscale 4-star hotel at approximately 4 pm. At this point, you'll have the pleasure of joining Pierre Gouttenoire, esteemed winemaker and co-founder of Grape Tours, for an excursion to Bordeaux's recently inaugurated Cité de Vin, followed by a delightful welcome dinner. This marks the commencement of our journey as we prepare to delve into the exploration of three of Bordeaux's most significant regions over the upcoming three days.

Tuesday, October 6 - 2025 (day 2)

RIGHT BANK

We will explore the Right Bank, embarking on a journey to three distinct wineries that showcase the intricate nuances of Merlot within diverse terroirs (Fronsac, Pomerol, and Saint-Emilion). A splendid lunch awaits us at one of these wineries.

Our journey includes a pause in the charming St. Emilion for a guided tour.

Following the tour, you have the freedom to either savor a meal at a restaurant of your preference or unwind at the hotel during your leisure time.

Wednesday, October 7 - 2025 (day 3)

LEFT BANK

This day will take us to the western side of the river, where Cabernet-Sauvignon dominates, exploring the iconic regions of Margaux, Pauillac, Saint Estèphe, and Saint-Julien to appreciate the diverse styles shaped by their unique terroirs.

Our itinerary includes a meeting with a barrel maker, providing insights into the art of aging wine in wood.

A delightful lunch awaits us at the second winery, accompanied by an exploration of more wines. In the afternoon, our visit to a third winery will be complemented by a chocolate tasting experience.

After the tour, you have the flexibility to dine at a restaurant of your choosing or unwind at the hotel during your free time.

Thursday, October 8 - 2025 (day 4)

SAUTERNES & PESSAC-LEOGNAN

On the third morning, our journey commences with a pause in Pessac-Leognan, offering a delightful tasting experience featuring exquisite top white and red wines, skillfully blended with Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot. Following this, we venture to the captivating region of Sauternes, where we have the privilege of sampling world-class wines. A special lunch awaits us at the winery, and, given the season, there's a high likelihood of experiencing the grape harvest in Sauternes, making it an exceptionally unique visit.

As we bid farewell, indulge in a delightful aperitif adorned with an array of excellent wines, complemented by a selection of cheeses and charcuterie.
