Ciao, I'm Ben Hart

After university, I spent five years working in London in banking and finance. Needing a change, and bored of wearing a suit I moved to Provence, southern France to work as a guide. Initially, as a cycling and hiking guide in France, I was soon traveling all over Europe. 

 

Since 2005 I have been based in Italy, although I continued to work further afield, designing and guiding tours for UK-based tour companies. In the last 10 years, gastronomy tourism grew in popularity, enabling me to eat and drink my way through nearly all the Italian regions.

 

Now I am living in the Tuscan countryside with my wife, two young daughters, and 10 chickens.
