8. "Slow Food" Chianti Tour

Using the word slow in Italian doesn't necessarily mean lazy or physically slow. On the contrary, the slow  travelling, eating and living concepts relate on this tour by going off the beaten track and discovering roads that few go on, taking in the beautiful spots, visiting passionate producers of wines and foods - all of this "slowly" by simply taking the time to appreciate these genuine and good things...

So, for this excursion we have selected some of our favorite farms and tasting spots that follow this concept. The region is still the one just South of Florence, emphasis being all the different local products that are produced by people with enormous pride & passion.

We'll have the chance to taste some first class wines, taste some great organic olive oil, have a cheese tasting in Tuscany's best cheese farm, visit the world famous Panzano butcher, Dario Cecchini, for a tasting lunch. All of this and then even time for a stroll in Greve in Chianti where it is possible to relax, have gelato or coffee or go visit the historical cellars where it is possible to taste more than 100 wines available for sampling!
